Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is a world leading cancer research, education and treatment centre and Australia’s only public health service solely dedicated to caring for people affected by cancer.
Education at Peter Mac aims to provide high‐quality education to our workforce, students, patients, carers and the broader healthcare and research community on all aspects of cancer prevention, detection and treatment, to improve patient care and outcomes.
We strive to deliver education which empowers all people involved in the cancer journey, and which supports and improves treatment and care for cancer patients.
We recognise the crucial contribution that high quality, evidence-based and up-to-date education plays in improving all aspects of cancer care and basic research, as well as accelerating research translation. Well-trained clinical, research and operational staff have an impact on the success of cancer care and research for oncology patients at Peter Mac and in the wider community.
